George and Darlene Munchinsky's 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, August 7 in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a come and go tea from 2:00 to 5:00 with a program at 3:00. Everyone is welcome to attend. No gifts, please.
Starting July 6 there will be an informal get together in the Fireside Room for all moms and their little (or not so little) ones! Over the summer these will be held every other Tuesday, from 9:30am-11:30am (Aug 3, 17, 31). Come on by and enjoy some visiting with other moms from the church and Olds area! You are cordially invited to join us on August 13, 2010 for the celebration of Gull Lake Centre’s 90 years of ministry. Come as we celebrate all that God has done in the past 90 years and look ahead to what is still to come. This is a time to rejoice, reconnect and remember. Come and find old friends, good memories and a place known as Gull Lake, Gull Lake Baptist Camp, Gull, GLC, camp, the camp, the Baptist camp or home. Festivities start at 2pm with various camp activities and displays of Gull Lake’s history. Supper will be at 5pm followed by a program and dessert. There will be a time of worship and praise at 8pm. First Baptist Church’s Summer Ministry Program is now collecting old ink cartridges, toner cartridges and cell phones. We are able to send these items away and receive cash for them. If you would like to support summer ministries through recycling, please bring all your recycled ink and phones to the big green box in the foyer. For more information, contact Pastor Paris Perry.
