Joy Fellowship

Vision Statement
The Just Older Youth Fellowship of First Baptist Church is aware of the increasing number of seniors in the Olds and the surrounding community.

We recognize that many of our fellow seniors do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

We will seek to develop programs, outreach ministries and other avenues of service to reach unchurched individuals as well as to nurture and encourage fellow senior believers in Christ.

Meetings
A fellowship luncheon is held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:00 am in the fellowship hall of the church. We have food, fellowship and fun. The food is a hot meal for $6.00 per person. During the short program we recognize birthdays and anniversaries. The program includes information, displays, special music, a devotional and other activities related to seniors.

Outings, Trips and Opportunities
As we become aware of special events, group trips and outings are arranged. Some times we car pool and with a larger group, a charter coach bus is used. A Bible study group meets each week at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays in the fireside room at the church. See the Small Groups page for details of other groups in the Olds area.
