First Baptist Church in Olds is located in the Town
of Olds in the province of Alberta. Situated in the south central region
of the province, Olds is mid way between Red
Deer and Calgary. Olds is
the home of Olds College and is home as well for many industries including
Agriculture and Petroleum. In addition to local sites, the Youth
Ministry maintains a local site as well.

Affiliated with the Alberta
Area of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada. As such we help support the Gull
Lake Baptist Camp, the Mill Creek Baptist Camp and Camp Wapiti.
We also help support the ROUTE
program and the Carey
Theological College in Vancouver. In addition we mutually
advertise each other's schools with the North American
Baptist churches.
The Alberta
Area of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada is
a part of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada which
includes the Saskatchewan
Area of the Baptist Union of Western Canada, the British
Columbia Area of the Baptist Union of Western Canada and
the Manitoba
Area of the Baptist Union of Western Canada. As a
Union we are a part of the Canadian
Baptist Ministries which includes
the Convention
of Atlantic Baptist Churches, the
Ontario
and Quebec Convention, and the French
Baptist Union. On a world wide basis we are part
of the Baptist World
Alliance.
