Extending care in difficult times

First Baptist Olds has been asked by our sister church in Aiud Romania to assist them financially with the Ukrainian Refugee Crisis. Our church in Aiud will purchase food and assist with housing to those refugees flooding into Romania at this time. The church in Auid, and other churches in this region, have been registered as a Refugee Assistance center.

Look below for information on giving financially

Ways to give financially to aid refugees from Ukraine

- By Cash or cheque. Donations should be made out to First Baptist Church and designated to Romania Missions Project. Donations can be dropped of on Sunday mornings, or at the main office during the week.

- By Etransfer using the instructions below.

Step 1: Log in to your bank account.

Step 2: Locate "Interac e-Transfer"

Step 3: Follow the prompts.  To add First Baptist Church Olds, click "Add recipient"

Name: First Baptist Church Olds

Although the church is on what is called "Auto Deposit," your bank may still require you to create a security question. Go ahead and do so, though it will likely not be required in further steps.

Step 4: Follow the prompts and input the dollar amount without the dollar sign.

Step 5: Use the information or message box to designate the purpose for the transfer (e.g. Tithe, CSB fee, Development Fund, etc). If this box is left blank, the contribution will be deposited to the General Fund.

If you are a first time donor, please enter your name and address.

Step 6: Review and submit or confirm.

Please contact Shelly Redekopp in the church office (403-556-3219) if you have any questions.
